Swim-A-Palooza
Swim-A-Palooza is our annual free swimming lesson and water safety education day. Community members can come to the facility for free to learn how to be safe in and around the water before enjoying an open swim in our facility. While this event is free, registration is required.
Swim-A-Palooza participants will receive a swim lessons assessment and instruction time followed by proper sizing and wearing of lifejackets, open water swim safety, the buddy system and more. Families will have the opportunity to take a Family Safety Pledge, committing to be present and aware when children are in the water.
The thirty minutes will be a swimming lessons followed by ten minutes of water safety education and activities. We will wrap the event up with a ten-minute open swim for families.
Children age six and under must have a supervising adult in the pool at all times. Children under 12 must take a swim test and have an adult in the facility.
