Community Transit Trip to Burke Museum

We will travel by bus and Link Light Rail to explore the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture located on the University of Washington campus.

This Smithsonian Affiliate has collections in Archaeology, Arts and Culture, Native arts of the Northwest, Geology and Paleontology and Biology.

Museum entrance is $20. You’ll need an ORCA card with fares for bus and light rail. If you wish to purchase lunch, there is a cafe on site as water bottles and food from outside are not allowed.

If you need to cancel, kindly provide a 48 hour notice so that our wait list folks can take your spot.

We will travel by motorcoach to watch the Seattle Mariners play the Detroit Tigers on Thursday August 6th.

A buffet (typical baseball fare) is included along with transportation and your 200 level ticket to the game.

The Driftwood Players Present: The Mysterious Affair at Styles


This play is based on Agatha Christie’s novel – “The Mysterious Affair at Styles”. The Belgium detective Hercule Poirot is introduced, and EVERYONE is a suspect in the poisoning of an elderly mother. There are the typical twists and turns that you find in an Agatha Christie novel on the journey to discover whodunnit.

Additional Information:
The public City of Edmonds parking lot is free to park in. If for some reason the parking lot is already full by the time you arrive, parking along Main Street in front of the theatre on both sides of the street is also free. Our show starts at 2pm, however you can arrive as early as 1pm to the theatre when the ticket lobby opens. There are light concessions available by cash donation as well as a bar available for drink purchase. The House opens for people to start finding their seats starting at about 1:30pm.

This production of Grease promises nonstop, nostalgic fun. So, throw on a poodle skirt, dust off that leather jacket, and rediscover the show that’s been winning hearts for generations!
