Cardio & Core
This Cardio and Core Small Group Training will help you hit a new level of fitness. You can expect a high-intensity workout that combines cardio exercises with core stabilizing moves. The combination of cardio and core exercises in this training group will help you burn calories, increase your endurance, and build lean muscles. Cardio exercises may include activities such as burpees and box jumps, while core exercises target the abdominal muscles through movements such as bear crawls, get ups, and battle ropes. Intro to Weightlifting
These sessions are perfect for anyone wishing to learn how to work out safely in our Wellness Center – our trainer will spend time coaching good form and technique while using various equipment. Learn how to correctly execute the 4 main free weight lifts – Squat, Deadlift, Overhead Press and Chest Press as well as train your cardiovascular system with focus on building endurance and speed.

Nutrition 101
Welcome to Nutrition 101
In this course we will learn how to properly read food labels while also learning how to avoid the processed food sections while grocery shopping. As a group, we will dive into the importance of a “whole foods” way of eating. We will learn about Disease Prevention, utilizing good nutrition and the importance of exercise to obtain optimal health. Our course will end with a celebration in which we will have a small cooking demo utilizing the techniques learned during our time together!

Strength Training 101
Are you wanting to learn how to weight train properly, but don’t know how or where to start?
Then this is the small group for you. In this informative 10 session workshop you will learn proper body position and form for weight training. You will also learn basic training techniques such as Body Weight training, Dumbbell Training, Straight Bar Training, Cable Training, and Functional Training. You will wrap up this course by learning how to assemble all you have learned into a workout that is right for you.
Prerequisite: Please stop by the Front Desk or Health and Wellness office to sign up for your Weight Room Orientation. Completion of the Weight Room Orientation is required to begin this course.

Teen Small Group
60 min session that focuses on speed, agility, and quickness for all athletes. SAQ training aims to improve explosive movements, challenge coordination, and increase cardiorespiratory fitness in a variety of drills. Athletes will work on skills such as acceleration, deceleration, change of direction, plyometric jump training, reaction training, and more.
